Christmas Nativity Play

This morning was Max’s big Christmas production at school. They have been diligently practicing it for weeks. He was very pleased and proud and I can’t wait to get the DVD recording of it. They were all adorable.

Randomness

A few random things from our lives…

Toothpick Wolverine Max (he came up with the idea himself)

Max’s first sparkler

Max diligently practicing his letters (unprompted)

Halloween!

Max was a Skeleton Knight for Halloween (yes, that was his pick). We had a great time putting his costume together. We went to Shepherds Bush Market to find all the bits and put it together ourselves. We even made the shield!

He also went to a party at his friend Amelie’s house. Great fun!

Kitchen Picnic

Spooky!

Mummy Max!

Trick or Treat!

And this was before the sugar high…

End of the Night with Buddy Duncan

London Aquarium

We also visited the London Aquarium during half term. It was our first visit but definitely not our last. Max was still on a high from visiting Warwick Castle so he wound up being a Knight Diver at the Aquarium.

Warwick Castle!

One of the things we did during the last break was take Max to Warwick Castle. That was a total win. I mean, it’s a CASTLE. Knights, yo.

And the world’s largest working trebuchet.

King Arthur has nothing on The Max

There was lots of sword fighting with Daddy

In the stocks…

Max was picked as the Dragon Lord at Merlin’s Tower

Sir Max

Harvest Festival

Okay, so I’m terrible. This was back in October (egad). Max loves to do any type of play / theatre / performance and the Harvest Festival this year was actually held within the Church proper rather than the church hall, which made it even more special

This was Max’s opinion of the production

Legos!

The bad guys all have capes.

Corner 9 art class!

Max went to his first Corner 9 art class today and LOVED it! He painted a picture and made a wire elephant and can’t wait to go again.
