Beach time

Today was a beach day at Passagrille. There was, of course, a giant sand castle.

We also saw dolphins, pelicans, conchs, and lots of hermit crabs.

Crabs of all kinds, actually!

Lots of fun!

And after was lunch on the dock at Sea Critters Cafe.

Yum, conch fritters!

Mini golf!

We are back in St Pete now and Max hit the pool with Mom Mom this morning.

Then we went to Red Robin for lunch since Max hasn’t stopped talking about the one in Gainesville that he went to on his “Cousin’s Adventure”. He had the burger with mustard, of course.

After that was Mini Golf out at the beach.

First he fed the gators.

Then he and Pop Pop got down to business.

Mommy and Daddy both got two hole-in-one’s but Mommy’s was on the Mystery Hole so we won a free game for next time (lucky, they don’t expire ).

Harvest Fest King

Max has been to about four or so Harvest Festivals in Gainesville.

There has been ice cream. And face painting.

Life-sized angry birds.

Giant American eagles.

Cotton candy!

Finished pumpkins!

Guess which ones Max did?

The Selfie King

Max has learned the term “selfie” from his cousins and is working on perfecting it.

He has had lots of practice.

Even artsy ones.

Kanapaha Botanical Gardens

Yesterday we went to the Kanapaha Gardens. Max especially loved running through the maze (no cheating allowed) and playing corn hole with Uncle Steve.

Pumpkin Painting

Angry bird pumpkins with Rachael. Max’s are a bit surreal but fun.

Playing Golf

Max has been golfing with Pop Pop Watson, both offline and on.

The G I Joe Game

Max invented a new game here at Grandma’s with little figures Auntie Lisa gave him.

He is, unsurprisingly, beating Daddy at the game.

Bowling

Max got to hang out with Pop Pop and go bowling. Fun times, but definitely we aren’t ready for a tournament.
