Creepy Crawly Show

We watched the Creepy Crawley show here at the park and it was quite nice and entertaining. Max got to hold a python at the end. Luckily he hadn’t volunteered for the ginormous snail… He actually really liked the snake, though you can’t tell from the picture!

Ringos and Swiss Bobs

The holiday park had a ski slope activity area and Max tried out both the Swiss Bob and the Ringo.

He said he liked them both the same though the Ringo was definitely much more daring.

He said he’s ready to go again next time we go on holiday.

I beat Daddy

Max beat Daddy at mini golf. All was good.

Cambridge

Yesterday we went to Cambridge with Daddy as he had a meeting. We, of course, had to go punting as that is the thing you do there.

Tony was both brave and foolhardy as he decided on a self guided tour. On the way back after going from the Mathematical Bridge to the Bridge of Sighs, the pole got stuck in the mud and he fell in.

Yes, indeed, he took a swim. Luckily I had his phone and Max was in charge of the camera.

He took a lot of pictures of ducks.

Cambridge itself was really beautiful and we will definitely go back!

Crafty Max

Another catch up post—Max making a salt scrub for the bath!

Tennis camps!

Max had two tennis camps last week that I forgot to post about. He enjoyed them, especially since it was with some of his best buddies.

The Wind in the Willows

Today we saw a really lovely outdoor production of The Wind in the Willows done by Sixteen Feet @sixteen_feet at Walpole Park.

I think Max rather liked Toad.

Actually he enjoyed every bit! I know what book I’ll be pulling off my shelf for him tonight!

Geocaching!

Even though today wound up being drizzly rainy, we were anxious to start geocaching so we set off for one in Meanwhile Gardens.

We found it! Though we had to use the hint as the coordinates on my iPhone seem to be a bit off.

We left a gold pendant heart behind and Max took a green bouncy guy.

We then walked to Paddington via canal and searched in vain for another stash (we need to figure out why my phone is off). Then lunch at the station to get out of the rain…

We will definitely try again on a sunnier day, maybe in Holland Park which has a few caches.

Max says: “This was EPIC!”

Max’s very first solo blog post

I love having this website! SinceĀ I have it I can show everyone what I have done.

This is how we match the socks…

Marley is no help, but Max is a good sock matcher!
