Max and I go to an afternoon tea every holiday break. It is our tradition. This time we went on the Bateaux London Thames cruise one.
Max especially loved the macaroons. But he enjoyed all of it.
Including lounging on the top.

After dinner tonight, we went with Max’s new friend to the show at the resort. It was 80’s night.
Max got up close and personal with the performers.
And learned some 80’s dance moves.
Then we caught the tail end of the movie Epic at their outdoor cinema. Max had a great night.

Today was another fun time at the Holland Park Ecology Centre. Max made a traditional Japanese Flying Fish.
It was very crafty. We also visited the Kyoto Garden within Holland Park, coloured in some pictures and made some origami fish.

Max has been wanting swing ball for ages and now that we have a garden, we got it.
Swing ball. In the side garden. In a pirate coat. With Daddy.

Last week, Max went to two more Holland Park Ecology Centre courses. He did a nature scrapbook one with his friends Duncan and Finn.
Then a reptile one later in the week.
He made a clay rattlesnake and learned snake and lizard facts.
He also played some games and coloured in some pictures. He liked the snakes in the grass as he made it to the end round.
He also got up close with a snake and a gecko. Lots of fun!

Max has done the library summer reading challenge for the last few years. He read some real big proper books this year, including some Choose Your Own Destiny books.
He actually finished it before we moved, but today we had a chance to stop by the library for his new medal. Way to go Max!
