Wallace Collection

We also went by the lovely Wallace Collection today.

Max tried on all the armor.

It’s really really heavy.

Especially the chain mail. He did a little Family Trail quiz too and quite enjoyed it.

We both really loved the armor and weapons collection, which is one of the best you can see in London (or anywhere, I dare say).

Thumb wrestling

Lunch was with Daddy today and thumb wrestling was involved.

Afterwards we checked out the huge new toy store on Oxford Street. It’s big, though not as big as Hamley’s (but what is?).

Max did like all the trying stuff areas, though we didn’t buy anything this time. The people were very friendly!

Comic Con!

The October MCM London Comic Con is huge, much bigger than the March one.

The costumes were amazing. Max was in awe.

He took lots of selfies.

He really liked hanging with the big dudes.

And even Han Solo.

We even saw the Delorean!

It was Epic, as Max says. It’s hard to pick out just a few pictures!

Yeah…

Daddy just played Max a Jamiroqua video and asked him what he thought.

Max: “I’m not really a fan of classical.”

Harry Potter Studio Tour

Yesterday we took Max to see the Harry Potter Studio Tour near London.

The words EPIC and Awesome were said a lot (as was “literally” but that’s normal).

I’m really glad we went during one of their special features over a holiday as some of Max’s fav things were the extras (like finding the Death Eaters).

He also really loved all the bits you could get up close to like Privet Drive, Hogwarts Bridge, and the Knight Bus.

A few ladies melted when he was on the bus. 🙂

He had such a good time!

Holiday Homework

Max finished his sarcophagus and mummy (with minimum help from Mommy). The two Poundland dolls are now unrecognizable!

Half term sleepover

Max stayed over with a friend last night and went to an Indian festival.

There was, of course, also some Minecraft time.

He had a great time. 🙂

Harry Potter

Here’s Harry Potter playing Lego Harry Potter on the XBox…

Harvest Festival

Max sang with his class for Harvest Festival (a yearly event where his school collects food for The Manna Society which helps the homeless) and they all did a wonderful job.

The church was beautifully decorated as well with bees and flowers and ladybirds that the kids made. Our contribution was leafy. 🙂

The Enormous Crocodile

Max had his assembly today, all about Roald Dahl. The kids made this excellent crocodile.

They sang and taught us all about Roald Dahl. They did an amazing job!
