Cookie Monster

Max learning who Cookie Monster is.

Me: What do you think?

Max: (crazy face) I have no idea!

Inside Out

Max has been waiting for this for ages.

Street Dance XXL

We took Max to the Street Dance XXL global competition at Wembley Arena today. He was hyped up.

We saw some amazing performances, both group and solo. The overall winners, IMD were, simply, awesome. But really every act was great and some of the kids were barely older than Max.

It was a spectacular Spectacular as they say.

And full of magic and dance. And music with a strong beat.

Football Max

Ran into some American football stuff at the London Designer outlet. Max had a go.

Hotel Chocolat workshop

After lunch at The Diner, Max had a chocolate workshop at the Hotel Chocolat School of Chocolate.

He learned all about how chocolate is made and then decorated a couple, ate lots of toppings, and coloured in a box to put them in. Sweet!

Southbank

We wandered Southbank for awhile too.

He had a hot dog with mustard.

Liked a singer so much he had to get her CD (Charlotte Campbell).

Enjoyed the beach, had an ice cream, saw some art installations and more street performers. A lovely London day!

Namco

Max always wants to go to Namco during a holiday break, so off we went today after filching some change from Daddy’s drawer.

Right off the bat, Max was super lucky and won a minion from a claw machine.

Then he played all his favourites like ski ball and air hockey and football.

He actually scored three goals out of five, his personal best.

And he beat me in ski ball for the first time.

And won over 200 tickets in one go at a game! I mean, look at that! He can barely hold them all!

He takes his fun very seriously.

Morning project

After Max was up and down all last night, our morning project was making a dream catcher out of a hanger, ribbons, feathers, and beads.

Garden Fort

A garden fort calls for comic books.

A long day of fun

Here’s Max reading Harry Potter number two in bed after a long day of adventure. He’s in his Being Nikola Gruevski shirt (given to him by Louie, our lovely Macedonian pizza guy) all chilled out.

He played football with Daddy, went out to lunch in Chinatown at his favourite (Gerrard’s Corner), picked up new Mega Man, Scooby Doo, and Plants vs. Zombies comics at Orbital Comics, took a long walk from Soho to Hyde Park, and then spent ages playing catch with Daddy. Oh, and there was ice cream.
